Aleo (Made in Germany)
About Aleo Solar
Aleo Solar began trading in 2001 in Germany. It now has offices in Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, and UK. Aleo also enjoys representation in Australia, Cyprus, Jordan, Malta, Moldova, Poland, and Scandinavia.
The company began supplying solar modules in Australia in 2009. The 105 solar panels for the vertical solar array at Australia’s Casey research station in Antarctica was a noteworthy milestone.
Aleo Solar says it has been working in multiple shifts in its factories to meet demand. It is therefore expanding production at several of its sites in order to produce two million solar panels a year. Production targets are 280 megawatts, 90 megawatts, and 20 megawatts in Germany.
‘Best in testing’ according to consumer organisation Stiftung Warentest (2006)
Classified ‘very good’ by monthly consumer magazine Öko-Test (2010)
Earned ‘top marks’ in Fraunhofer’s PV Module Durability Initiative (2013)
The only manufacturer guaranteeing 98% of nominal output after two years
Milan Polytechnic found Aleo technology outperforms other yields by up to 5.7%
Aleo says it now manufactures the most efficient solar panels in Germany
Key Focus in Australia
Aleo Solar supplies products for domestic use in Australia. It showed off a new innovation at Clean Energy Week 2013 in Brisbane. This was a PVT hybrid panel with both photovoltaic and thermal modules. This bolsters its intention to focus on the lucrative home solar market.
Aleo Solar is an innovative company with a solid German reputation. It is a market leader in PERC technology. This adds another layer at the back of traditional solar cell design and boosts both output and production. The company claims 21% greater production efficiency than monocrystalline cells.
