Terms & Conditions
The terms that govern your use of our website and our services.
Last updated: 1 January 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Sunline Energy website (sunlineenergy.com.au) and any services we provide, including quoting, system design, installation, aftercare and rebate processing. By using our website or engaging us, you agree to these Terms.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote (typically 30 days). Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated. Final pricing reflects the system, products and rebates confirmed in your individual quote. Any pricing examples shown on the website are general in nature.
3. Rebates and incentives
Federal STC values, Solar Victoria rebates, Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) and other government incentives are subject to eligibility, available funding and government policy. We will confirm your eligibility and the rebate amount in your written quote. Sunline is not responsible for changes to government programs that occur after a quote has been provided.
4. Installation
All installations are completed by appropriately qualified and accredited installers. We will agree an installation date in writing. We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, safety, supply or unforeseen site conditions, and will give you reasonable notice where possible.
5. Site access and conditions
You agree to provide safe and timely access to the property and to disclose any known site conditions (such as asbestos, hazardous wiring or structural concerns). Additional work required due to undisclosed conditions may attract additional charges, which will be agreed with you before work proceeds.
6. Warranties
Each Sunline installation is covered by:
- The manufacturer's product warranty (varies by brand and component);
- The manufacturer's performance warranty where applicable;
- Sunline's 10-year workmanship warranty on installation labour.
Warranty terms, exclusions and claim processes are detailed in your quote and post-install handover pack. These warranties are in addition to any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Payment
Payment terms are set out in your quote and contract. Deposits, progress payments and final payments are due as agreed. Title in installed equipment passes to you on receipt of full payment. Late payments may attract interest at the rate prescribed by law.
8. Cancellations and cooling-off
As a NETCC Approved Seller, we honour the cooling-off period required by the New Energy Tech Consumer Code, allowing you to cancel without penalty within 10 business days of signing. Cancellations after this period may attract reasonable costs incurred by Sunline up to the date of cancellation.
9. Referral program
Referral rewards are paid per completed installation as set out on our Refer & Earn page. Sunline reserves the right to verify the source of a referral and to update the program terms with reasonable notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sunline's liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or our services is limited to (at our option) the supply of the relevant services again or the cost of having the services supplied again. Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Website use

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate and up to date but do not warrant that it is free from errors.
